Kelly Cutrone wrote to me...

I thought I would share this :-)
Not exactly a written letter, but we exchanged one tweet each about the beauty of having a rare sleep in as a parent. Now we're on the same wave length, maybe she will hire me?

Mark Fast SS10 show in London!

There are a few things I love about this fashion show;
a) The dress at 26 seconds.
b) The curvier women that are on the runway and not watching the show on Youtube like me.
c) The skirt at 3 minutes 32 seconds (although I would never dare wear it in fear that I would look like a disabled fish)
d) 3 minutes 57 seconds, because a model stumbles a little(MEAN)
e) The dress at 5 minutes 52 seconds, which I've used in my night 'out look' below
f) The dress at 6 minutes 10m seconds is lurrvley too
g) The body at 7 minutes 06 seconds

I guess that's more than a few. The St Martin's graduate has won my heart♥

Outfits I would purchase if I won the lottery.

I created these looks at about 1 o'clock this morning when I was too tired to write. I would need a lottery win to actually be able to afford a Mark Fast dress and a Chloe bag.

The first outfit is something i'd like to wear on a night out. I'm going on a girls night out tonight, i'll blog tomorrow if I find an outfit worthy enough.

Night out look

My favourite thing about this outfit is the Cynthia Vincent sandals. That's why they may seem randomly placed, if I owned a pair, I would wear them everytime the sun came out.

Casual-day look
My friend Taryn saw my post on my beloved Fendi shoes and sent me a link containing THESE BEAUTIES...

They're £68 in Topshop. I'm not sure how I missed them yesterday, I think they may have been in the 'new in' section.

High street shopping - inspired by Fendi

Just a quick post..
I have been doing a little online shopping, trying to fulfill my desire for Fendi's SS10 collection. It's proving to be difficult, as I simply can't afford £920 for a pair of shoes. The high street is usually my best friend, but on this occasion I just cannot find a shoe that compares with the Tulle-embellished suede sandal.

I apologise in adavance for the lame high street equivalents that follow. Fendi cannot be matched this season...

Forever21 $42.00

As an English girl, i'm a secret fan of Forever21. I say a secret, merely because when I get home I am sure to be the only one wearing my bargain buys. And so, I did a little online shop from this side of the Atlantic and found this Fendi inspired dress on forever21.com. Chiffon texture, light green in colour and a cross between the Fendi runway styles. I think this tiered shirt dress easily looks like it could cost $100. A new belt wouldn't go a miss though, and cheap dresses need GOOD shoes to pull of an expensive look. Like these...

If you have watched the Fendi SS10 show, then the reason I picked out this red tulip waistband skirt is self-explantory. I tried to find a chocolate shade puff ball waistband skirt, one of my favourite looks from this collection. But as I said, the high street let me down. This red skirt, teamed up with a chiffon blouse is good enough though.

The sandals above would also look great with this tunic shirt dress, in coffee shade. It's a pretty simple design but with the right accessories, this dress could look great. And when it comes to the Fendi collection, it gets three ticks for shade, texture and of course style!

Fell for Fendi.

I have fallen in love with this Youtube clip.

I know this Fendi Spring/Summer 2010 show took place in September, but I love this collection. It's not autumn/winter 2010, it's NOW, with this seasons barely there, wispy fabric and fraying edges. All in off-pastel, nude shades, with a bit of red and brown in the mix.

The first and last dress in this photo (borrowed from The Telegraph) are absolutely gorgeous.

I'm also a big fan of the transparent platform shoes. I love the wrap around of mesh material, and the bow created at the back. This shade is my favourite in the Fendi shoe collection, it looks great with the red pencil skirt seen on the runway.

More of my favourite looks from the show. I particularly like the brown waistband skirt. And I WANT the high-neck, cream cocktail dress for my next night on the town.

Time to prep for the beach?

You know it's time to hit the gym when a woman in her 40's looks better in a bikini than you do in your 20's. Unless that 41 year old is Jennifer Aniston, maybe then you can give yourself a break. I can't believe how amazing she looks! She must do some serious working out...
